more than 1,000 individuals, businesses, and foundations, the Center serves
school children, businesses, and the community. Stroll through the Garden of Earthly Delights. See examples
of green building, energy and water conservation, sustainable landscaping, and
creative reuse. Gain ideas and
inspiration for living well without waste.
BRING It Home!
In 2003, BRING launched a capital campaign that raised more than $3.2 million in grants and
donations over 12 years to build the Planet Improvement Center. In 2014 we completed the final phase of
construction, improving the back third of the site, our outdoor sales area.
final phase included: a second bioswale, completing our on-site storm water
system; a code-required shelter for trash/recycling dumpsters; paving and
infrastructure, for safe, ADA-accessible, outdoor sales and processing; renovations
to our materials processing shop; and interpretive signage.
