Youth Programs

BRING provides education programs for Lane County classrooms (K-12), pre-schools, summer camps, and youth groups, including presentations and field trips.

To schedule, contact our Education Manager at or 541-746-3023 x315.

Get up-close and personal with garbage and recycling at Lane County’s Glenwood Transfer Station and Short Mountain Landfill.  See the machines, hear the noise, and see where the trash ends up after you throw it ‘away’.  Plus, visit BRING’s Planet Improvement Center to see some positive alternatives to trashing your stuff.  Locations may be scheduled individually, or combined for a complete lesson on waste management.  Available for groups of up to 35 people.
