Other Reuse Programs
These community reuse programs provide assistance to educators:
MECCA
The Materials Exchange Center for Community Arts specializes in
diverting waste from the landfill and teaching children and adults how
to make art with those materials. It's a great resource for teachers
and crafters. MECCA offers scrap materials, workshops and open
studio hours. Phone: 541-302-1810; email: info@materials-exchange.org;

NextStep Recycling
NextStep Recycling refurbishes computers and gets them into the
hands of people who need them. They accept: obsolete electronics,
including computers, laptops, hand-held games, and cell phones;
household electronics (clocks, radios, lamps); white goods (microwaves,
stoves, dryers, etc.); brown goods (stereos, VCRs, DVD players, etc.);
and the packing and shipping materials associated with those items.
