Deconstruction provides an environmentally preferable alternative to traditional demolition as a way to remove a building. When a building is deconstructed, usable items are removed by hand, salvaging as much as possible for reuse. Deconstruction conserves resources. Not only are the raw materials saved, but all the energy it took to manufacture them in the first place. Materials typically recovered in deconstruction projects include lumber, doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, hardware and wiring. Older buildings often contain old growth lumber of very high quality that is hard to buy today. Salvaged materials are sold to the public through BRING's Warehouse. BRING is a licensed and bonded contractor. We can provide a wide range of deconstruction services, from completely dismantling residential or commercial structures to simply salvaging high value materials. We can also pick up materials that you remove yourself. For more information on how deconstruction can work for you, call us at 746-3023. copyright © 2001-2008 BRING Recycling . All rights reserved. |
