GOODSEARCH

Bring Recycling will be honored December 18 on GoodSearch as their "Charity of the Day," recognizing the important work BRING does in the local community. BRING’s logo and a link to this Web site will be featured on the GoodSearch home page. Each search done on GoodSearch by anyone that day or another day, choosing BRING as the "designated cause", generates donations for BRING. Click here to go to GoodSearch.

EarthShare of Oregon is a federation of environmental and conservation organizations. Many corporations and government agencies sponsor Earth Share workplace giving campaigns through which you can designate a donation to BRING Recycling. If you would like to have EarthShare at your workplace please contact BRING or EarthShare 503-223-9015.

YOUR DONATIONS HELP US PROVIDE PROGRAMS LIKE THESE:

Finding markets for hard to recycle items.

Example: plastic nursery pots and trays. Almost no agricultural plastic (pots, trays, greenhouse covers, twine etc) is recycled, even though the amount generated in Oregon is equal to container plastics like milk jugs and pop bottles. Help us keep recyclable pots and trays out of the landfill.

Education
The key to conservation. More than 15,000 people a year learn about waste reduction, reuse and recycling through presentations, tours and workshops provided by BRING.

• Information and Referral

Waste Hotline — Call us! We get over 9,000 requests for information each year. Humans, not machines, will answer your call. If we don’t know the answer, well find out.
UsedNews—Our free newsletter, chock full of waste reduction, reuse and recycling info.
≈ Materials Exchange—free listing service for businesses and individuals with reusable scraps, overruns, and other discards.
